The 2017 NJEA Convention will be held November 9-10, 2017 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Convention draws teachers and educational support professionals (ESP) who participate in over 300 seminars, workshops, and programs. It is one of the largest educational gatherings of its kind in the world.
I’m not a member of NJEA. Can I attend the convention?
Nonmembers pay an admission fee based on how much access they wish to have to the convention. The fee covers both Thursday and Friday. There is no single-day admission rate. All admissions are for the entire two-day event. Nonmembers may not bring guests.
- Professional development access (Exhibit Floor and workshop sessions): $150
- Affiliated group members who are not NJEA members: $100
- Exhibit floor only: $50
Nonmembers may purchase their admission badges in the box office located in the atrium or register and pay in advance athttps://2015njeaconvention.eventbrite.com. Nonmembers who register on-site will receive a certificate of attendance at the box office when they receive their admission badge. Nonmembers who register in advance may receive their certificate of attendance at the Will Call booth in the atrium.
Admission may be paid on-site by credit card (Visa and MasterCard only) or cash. Checks are not accepted.

I forgot to bring my badge with me to Atlantic City. What do I do?
The admissions/replacement badge area in Hall D will be open on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you do not have your membership card, proof of membership such as a pay stub showing your dues deduction will speed your registration process. Please have photo ID.
